HIGH FLY |
Nick Zito |
Jerry Bailey |

9-2

|
**Ran the Derby the way he should be running
the Preakness. May have burnt his chances
then running with Spanish Chestnut. Not my choice but could win if he recovered.
He has top Jockey Bailey CHANCE |

NOBLE CAUSEWAY |
Nick Zito |
Gary Stevens |

10-1

***Did not run ' a lick' in the Derby. He was one of my
selections then. If he has a reason for the poor performance then he could
win this. GOOD SHOT

GREELEY'S GALAXY |
Warren Stute |
David Flores |
PP |
15-1
|
|
***Expecting a real effort here.
Flores is a very good CA jockey and the owners are
trying hard. Had a poor exercise just before
the Derby. On his best, WINS! |

Cornelio Velasquez |

Another tough campaigner. Poor jockey timing in Derby, could have
won then. May hit the board but not enough to win. Again, should be one of
the tired ones from a hard Derby.

Corey Kakatani |
PP |
10-1

|
***Very one paced and as such, requires a long sustained run to
win. May be worn out from a tough 2 & now 3yo campaign. Has a good SHOT, if
he is well after the Derby run.

Ran great in the Derby. I expect a dull performance after a
tough race running all out. Not my pick

GIACOMO |
John Shirreffs |
Mike Smith |
PP |
6-1

****You have to bet this horse regardless. He had a light
campaign coming into the Derby, ran the best race of his life and may have great
potential for the future. His performance Trend is steep and I expect a
capital race from him. . Derby winners invariably win the Preakness . If
you run your best race in the Derby, chances
are your momentum will take you to the top here. The Belmont is another
story. However, he is the top pick -
GOOD SHOT at good odds
